 Parking Lot info for Inclement weather

To the Congregation of Trinity Great Swamp:
During the winter months ahead, Property Commission in conjunction with Consistory will be instituting the following actions:
- In the event of snow or icy conditions, the old parking lot will be closed. Only the new parking lot, front of the church and along the curbing will be cleared of snow and ice. We are doing this for the safety of our congregation and guests. The old lot as you all know is on a hill and is dangerous when icy, and the new lot is flat and easier to walk on when wet. We will make sure that there is plenty of room to drop off and pick up passengers at the curb.
- In the event of inclement weather, Pastor Ellis, Property Commission Chairperson and Consistory President may close the church for safety reasons (if we feel the weather conditions are too dangerous), this will affect any and all employment, meetings, practices, and group meetings (church & non church groups). The reason for this is the safety of our Congregation and Guests .
To notify of closings, we will work with Pastor Ellis and change the out going message on the phone and ask people to call in before going out in bad weather to find out if the church will be open, closed or closing early.
We are looking out for the safety of the Congregation and Guests of Trinity Great Swamp.
